Snickers cupcakes

There was a family order for these muffins, so here they are. Cupcakes often are small masterpieces, there are a million ways to make and decorate them. When the genuine butter comes on the table, you have to cook them. My favorite cupcakes are chocolate ones, and here you find snickers variation here.  Because of added snickers pieces, our men are real fans of these cupcakes. My inspirations are  here and, as usual here, for caramel sauce.
Ingredients for 20 cupcakes:
  • 0,5 glass cocoa powder
  • 0,5 glass hot water
  • 0,5 glass milk
  • 1,5 glass wheat flour
  • 0,5 tea spoon baking soda
  • 0,5 tea spoon baking powder
  • 0,5 tea spoon salt
  • 100g butter
  • 0,5 glass fine sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 table spoon vanilla extract/flavor
  • 2 snickers bars (chopped in cubs)
For whipped cream :

  • 400ml 30% fat cream (1-2 table spoons leave for caramel sauce)
  • 2 heaped tablespoons of powdered sugar
  • 1 snickers bar (chopped in cubs)
For caramel sauce:

  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 table spoon cream 30% fat
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • pinch of salt
For dough preparation you need 3 bowls. In firs ball mix cocoa with hot water, add milk and let it cool down. (to prevent from bubbling of baking soda and powder later).

In 2nd bowl mix dry components: flour, baking powder and soda, salt.

In 3rd bowl churn butter with sugar, add eggs and vanilla flavor. All the ingredient should have room temperature.
Home-made alcohol vanilla extract
Now mix all three bowls' content. For bowl with eggs pour the cocoa liquid, mix it and add dry ingredients.
Mix them all together.

Put paper muffin cups to muffin moulds (I have red silicon cups). Put 2,5 tablespoons of dough to every cup. The dough doesn't grow a lot when baking.

Bake the muffins for 20 minutes in 356 F (180oC). After 5-10 minutes of baking put couple of Snickers cubs into every muffing. Cool them down after baking.

Whip the cream finely with sugar and place it in pastry bag. Decorate the cupcakes with sweet whipped cream. Put the several cubes of Snickers on the top of every cupcake.

Caramel frosting:  Put sugar on the bottom of a frying pan. Heat the pan up carefully (caramel is very hot and easy to burn). Sugar should start to melt. Add water and cream. Mix everything. Add butter and salt and mix it all together. Cool the caramel down slightly and pour it on the muffins. Put the cupcakes to the fridge, at least for half an hour.

Enjoy!
